Lead Data Engineer – Milton Keynes
 
Are you a Lead Data Engineer, who takes ownership of the Data platform, as well as leading a team to deliver a data and analytics service to support business intelligence and Machine Learning and looking for your next challenge?
 
We are hiring for a growing Fin tech challenger Bank who are all about working together, to offer SMEs a genuine banking alternative!

The ideal candidate will be skilled / knowledge of several of the following areas:

Proven hands-on Data Engineering experience and Business Intelligence development
Demonstrable experience of Azure Analysis Services – some DAX would be beneficial Expert on the Azure data platform especially Azure Data Factory (ADF); Azure Storage (including Data Lake Store) and Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Excellent SQL programming skills
Python programming skills
Familiar with DevOps
Expert in Data modelling, data warehouse design and data lake concepts and practices
Lead on Azure data technologies and data engineering, establishing best practices and creating new agile processes with the highest standards for coding and development
Power BI management and integration with other analytical tools
Experience working within data governance and compliance frameworks
Be a hands-on Data Engineer across the full stack as well a team leader who will be able to train and mentor others joining and developing into the team.
