DCV Technologies are currently working with a well-established and respected certified Chartered Accountants based in Buckinghamshire who are looking for a Junior Accountant to join their friendly team.
In joining this firm, you will; become a key member of staff within a leading Accountancy practice who are forward thinking, modern and keen to develop and progress their staff.
You will support the Personal Accountants in ensuring that all clients accounting needs are met within a timely manner.
Your main focus will be on the production of VAT Returns and Quarterly Management Accounts with further scope to assist with accounts production, Self-Assessment Tax Returns, payroll and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare VAT returns and Accounts for a select group of limited company clients whilst ensuring these are completed well within the imposed statutory deadlines.
Responding to inbound client queries via telephone/email as well as outbound calls/emails to clients for approvals and other queries.
Assistance with client payroll
Updating all databases with new client information or a change to client information
Completion and filing for company records including Confirmation Statements, Company Accounts, Company Tax Returns, VAT Returns and Self-Assessment' Tax Returns.
Supporting senior team members where required
Knowledge and Skills

·Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
·Good computer skills (excel, outlook & word)
·Excellent multi-tasking ability
·To be already, or planning to study towards an accountancy qualification such as AAT / ACCA
