Interim Financial Controller Vacancy – based in Milton Keynes – MK9
Initially a short-term contract for 3-6 months, this role could become permanent for the right person.
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for producing financial information, which will be delivered at Board level, highlighting variances and issues that could impact business performance.
Duties Include:
• Prep of statutory accounts pack for all legal entities
• Manage the month end to year end process including all reporting and the audit relationship
• Consolidations Accounts
• Preparing financial reports for Senior team and management
• Providing management information – month end results, forecasts as well as weekly/monthly KPIs
• Analying financial data
• Overseeing and preparing income statements
• Daily cash flow management, with the ability to forecast cash flow
• Compliance with PAYE and VAT regulations, ensuring the timely submission of returns
• Financial audit compliance
• Participating in budgeting processes
• Evaluating and managing risk
• Providing leadership and coaching to our accounting team
Essential Skills:
• ACCA/CIMA/Part Qul/QBE
• Strong background in managing the day to day duties of a busy finance department
• Excellent motivation and enthusiasm to manage staff
• Staff management experience
Hours of Work:
35 hours a week (Monday to Friday can be flexible on start and finish time)
