Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an Insurance and Claims Officer to assist the Group Senior Insurance & Claims Manager and the Senior Internal Audit Manager in the analysis, management of claims activity and trends and to move Kier to proactive claims management enabling functional stakeholders to manage risk to eliminate or reduce claims. To provide support in the management of the Group insurance programme. To identify, design and develop data analytics routines to support audit activities performed by the internal audit team.
What do we need from you?
You will need to able to explain the technical aspects of insurance analytics and claims to non-specialists and have knowledge of project management and project control processes. Strong quantitative, analytical, data-intuition, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in data analytics techniques is also needed as well as proficiency in extraction and analysis of data from financial systems, in particular Oracle and Causeway, leveraging data analysis tools, Excel, Access, and/or Microsoft SQL, specific DA tools, such as IDEA, Tableau and Oracle's own analytics modules.
