Group Systems Accountant

This is a field-based role providing a combination of Business as Usual (BAU) support and delivery of key finance and sales administration projects within the Keyloop Autoline and wider finance system environment. Ideally within commuting distance of Milton Keynes an element of UK travel to Inchcape’s finance and Retail centres will also be required.

Main Responsibilities

* Lead and support key UK finance and sales administration system and process projects including:

* System set up and configuration

* System testing and documentation of such (unit through to user acceptance testing)

* Data migration and verification

* Ad-hoc report writing using Autoline Report generator

* Preparing and delivering training and post implementation support

* Preparation and design of training materials and documentation to support new system releases

* Provide system support and troubleshoot issues within stated SLA’s across the following systems:

* Autoline second line support covering all finance and vehicle modules including franchise data

* Support third-party systems including Coupa, ReconNET, Statementmatching, Webcom, BPC, idealfile, and DocuSign.

* Investigate opportunities to automate processes using existing and new technologies recommending whether to proceed with projects or software releases

* Custodian and maintenance of Inchcape’s iPower powered by Autoline standard configuration and role profiles

* Identifying and promote system and business best practice maximising efficiency and reducing cost and working capital.

* Identifying and providing early warning to senior management of any issues or potential control weaknesses

* Working and building relationships with key suppliers

The Ideal Candidate

* Extensive Autoline system accounting and Retail motor trade experience is essential along with strong interpersonal and organisation skills. Good business acumen and an analytical approach to problem solving are also key attributes.

* Ideally trained by Keyloop as a Finance and Vehicle consultant the successful applicant must have KCC Autoline system administration experience including: –

* System set up and configuration

* Posting Table Maintenance

* Report creation and maintenance using report generator

* Familiarity with Vehicle Stock Book functionality

* To be able to review and report on data strong Excel skills are required. Familiarity with VLOOKUP functionality, IF/THEN/AND statements, ability to interrogate data using Pivot tables and interpret and report on findings.

* A high degree of flexibility needed as you will be required to work within a team environment but also on your own initiative to tight deadlines.

* A qualified accountant is preferred but not essential overall the candidate should be able to demonstrate success in their career to date and have a desire to develop a career with Inchcape.
