Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for a wide variety of financial reporting, financial analysis and financial compliance tasks & duties

Natural people skills & excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – are essential as well as the ability to demonstrate a strong academic record alongside their professional qualifications. Strong I.T. skills, particularly in Word, Excel and Powerpoint, are essential.

* Preparation of Group consolidated management accounts consolidations, including flash, forecast and month end

* Delivery of the consolidated budgets & forecasts

* Manage the Group tax matters in conjunction with our professional advisors including audit and submission of tax computations

* Preparation of consolidated VAT returns

* Oversee the Group treasury process

* Responsible for preparation of draft full year & interim consolidated statutory accounts

* Provide support to external auditors at half year and year end, including delivery of audit workings

* Preparation of Group Board deliverables including board powerpoint presentations

* Review and make proposals to improve the control environment within the UK and the wider Group
