Our client is looking to recruit and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
The aim of the role –
• To provide timely, accurate and incisive financial/management information to key stakeholders to enable decision-making
• Production of and continued improvement to monthly CFO Packs, forecasts and budgets
• To support other teams across the whole of the company through finance business partnering
Key Accountabilities –
• Managing the Business Partner team and responsible for overseeing the output from the team to the business ensuring it is high quality and accurate
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Provide critical insight into the drivers and levers underpinning financial performance
• Identify opportunities to improve the company’s financial performance
• Assess the financial risk of any and all business operations, investments, and innovations
• Establish and implement appropriate financial reporting and monitoring systems
• Review all financial budgets and forecasts regularly
• Oversee the accuracy and integrity of reports produced by the team, reviewing appropriate financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
• Contributing to company financial strategy and decision making process
• Align annual financial planning cycle with ongoing strategy development
• Drive forward process improvements to improve efficiency and automation
• Undertaking financial analysis and reporting
• Supervise, motivate and lead the Business Partner team members
Essential Skills –
Professional Accountancy qualification
Significant experience of finance business partnering with a wide group of stakeholders in order to challenge actual performance, forecasts and budgets
Excellent communication skills
Able to communicate complex accounting/financial concepts in an easily digestible form
Strong presentation skills
Able to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels
Solid analytical and forecasting skills
Good attention to detail
Strong people manager
