This role is a new position due to the growth of the business looking after one of the divsvions.
Job Purpose
Business partnering, forecasting and P&L management. To support the business by providing financial insight, support and analysis across all areas, including operations, risk, marketing and finance to help achieve our strategic aims
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and run business planning cycle including: 5-year plan, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in conjunction with key stakeholders
* Develop and maintain risk based pricing models and profitability modelling by product
* Collating information and commentary for inclusion in the monthly KPI Board pack and Management Accounts, in accordance with reporting deadlines.
* Prepare and present business cases to influence decision makers for changes to the business model within the restraints of the budget
* Identify trends and variances to understand business drivers
* Strong focus on internal customers, building excellent working relationships and insightful business partnering with key stakeholders
* Business partnering and driving optimal business decision, liaising with business management and group to support or drive business activities
* Ensure that we are delivering results in line with, and highlight areas of risks and opportunities to, our business plans
* Ensure that reporting is in place to enable key stakeholders to manage the business effectively
* Ensure that reporting is in place to highlight operational metrics and insight to enable the business to make informed decisions
* Help to develop, cost and monitor against the business incentive programmes in conjunction with the Renumeration committee and operational management
* Use insights to advise on decisions to reduce cost, and increase profit and revenue, balancing financial performance with the operational performance and customer proposition
Skills & Experience
CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified
An inquisitive and analytical mind
Previous budgeting, forecasting and P&L management skills
Hands on sourcing of own data through SASVA and querying of datasets
Proven track record of meeting multiple objectives
Strong communication and analytical skills
Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in a demanding and fast paced environment
Confident, independent problem solver
Strong communication skills
Strong Excel experience
