A Financial Controller with multi-currency financial experience is required by our Manufacturing client based near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. A salary of up to £60k is available.

The Financial Controller will report monthly on the financial status of both the UK and French companies and prepare accurate comprehensive management accounts as well as submit weekly reports to directors.

The Financial Controller will operate a functional role alongside an Accounts Assistant ensuring bank balances and bank reconciliations, raising credits and invoices and managing multi-country ledger accounts.

You will offer effective strategic and operational financial planning as well as financial analysis and reporting to enhance the company’s decision-making process.  You will maintain day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of finance, including payroll, accounting, financial reporting and financial control and management.

At one level this role reports to the Board, but you will also provide functional duties overseeing the preparation of financial records related to general ledger, budget, and expenses and provide information to the external auditors for the annual audit.

Required skills:

– Proven work experience as a Financial Controller or Head of Finance.

– ACCA or CIMA qualified with several years’ post qualification experience

– Strong financial strategies and experience managing accounts staff

– Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.

– Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.

– Ability to work flexibility and be prepared to implement change.

Salary:

A basic salary up to £60k is available plus pension.
