An opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller has arisen within a leading manufacturer based in Buckinghamshire.

Whether you are a qualified accountant or qualified by experience, we are looking for someone who can roll their sleeves up and really get stuck in to the day to day running of the finance department.

On a typical day you’ll be responsible for all Tax, VAT and Payroll related processes as well as overseeing all Sales & Purchase Ledger functions. You’ll be responsible for the production of the Management Accounts and submission of Corporation Tax. There will also be tasks including management of the staff benefits scheme, maintenance of the fixed assets schedule and ensuring compliance of Year End Accounts including Stock and WIP valuations.

Ideally you will come from a manufacturing background and be used to communicating across all levels and with several different departments throughout the business. You won’t be in this alone though, you’ll have a fantastic, highly experienced team-member who has taken on a large amount of the day to day processes, including payroll and with your guidance will ultimately develop further and continue to strengthen the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager who is looking for a step-up or a Financial Controller who has the Finance Director role in their sights. This business is growing fast and is offering an excellent progression route for the right candidate to take a seat at the Management table in the near future.
