Salary: £40000 KPI Bonus of £4,000 plus £5,400 company bonus

Location: Milton Keynes

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to work within a global, award winning company in Milton Keynes. The Financial Accountant will report to the Company Accountant and be part of a highly successful team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:-

* Part qualified CIMA/ACCA

* Driven to achieve goals and objectives

* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills especially MS Excel

* Displays ownership of Tasks and accountability

* Takes a proactive approach to suggesting improvements

* Good proven solving skills and maths ability

* Good communication skills

Key responsibilities:-

Responsible for the fixed asset register, including processing any additions and disposals on time and quality.

Preparation of monthly inventory reports, highlighting key changes and monitoring of moving average prices where necessary

Produce/review balance sheet reconciliations including fixed assets, inventory and IFRS16.

Support the month end process through delivery of allocated transactions and processes.

Assist the Company Accountant with the preparation of the VAT, Intrastat reporting and Corporation Tax.

Preparation of key schedules to deliver the statutory audit and assist with the preparation of the annual accounts.

Assist and prepare documentation and overviews to meet the requirements of Group Reporting.

Provide timely and robust financial analysis and management insight.

Responsible for department document retention policy and application.

Design, review and implement financial process improvements.

To deputise in key areas, such as cashflow maintenance, VAT etc, and financial reporting to group.
