Financial Accountant, Milton Keynes, Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA, £40,000 + Excellent benefits

Our client, a well established and highly reputable services group, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their efficient UK finance team. The role reports to the Company Accountant whom they will work closely with, whilst working as part of a larger accounts team.

As the Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

* Monthly inventory reports, highlighting and analysing key changes

* Balance sheet reconciliations including fixed assets

* VAT preparation support, intrastat reporting and corporation tax

* Audit support, including preparation of annual accounts

* Design and review finance process improvements

For the Financial Accountant role we are looking for someone who is ideally ACCA or CIMA part-qualified and actively studying. Someone who is highly IT literate, holds strong Excel skills including Pivot tables and V look ups and is keen, self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Someone who will be able to demonstrate where they have implemented effective change. As you will need to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels across the business, as well as working as part of a small team to ensure that required expectations on all deliverables are met, you will also require confident and effective communication skills.
