Finance Specialist

We're looking for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist in Milton Keynes

Due to internal promotion, this highly successful, growing Milton Keynes business has a new opening in their finance department to support the Finance Director in their period of growth.

This includes raising, sending and paying invoices, reconciling company accounts and chasing late payments.

With parking on site this is a fast paced and varied business accounting role for a go getter who has experience ideally in AR and AP processes

Prepared to get stuck in, you'll also own daily tasks including:

* Invoice processing

* Daily Banking

* Processing expense requests

* Credit control

* Cash book maintenance

* Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers

* Banks reconciliation

* Raising sales invoices, including project invoicing

* Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers

* Administration, including updating and maintaining procedural documentation

You'll need a mix of the following experience, characteristics and skills:

* Prior experience in a similar role

* Knowledge of business accounting operations

* Ability to multi-task and ability to be organised

* High level of attention to detail and accuracy

* Strong time management and analytical skills

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Possess a positive outlook with a problem-solving attitude.

* Ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for data

* Takes pride in providing excellent customer service
