RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with an established firm of Building Services consulting engineers in their search for a Finance/Office Manager.
The business has been established since 1978 and provides a role as building services design engineers within the construction industry, and is currently seeking an Office Manager with an emphasis on Finance encompassing the following skills:
Energetic, self-driven, resourceful, organised, tenacious
The go-to person for all office queries, strong personality, long term commitment to the business
Be able to do payroll monthly, using Sage accounting software (or similar), able to do cashflow, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
Maintaining HR records
Company e-mail filing and archiving
Organising and formatting specifications and reports
Marketing, including updating website, Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms
Stationery & office supplies management
The person for this role is someone who takes control, really strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A stickler for processes and procedures.
Duties will be a combination of:-
50% Finance – all financial duties for the business
30% Office Admin
15% Marketing
5% HR – recruitment, staff induction, training, staff social events etc
The role will initially be shared on a part-time basis leading to a full-time position, this will be based on a minimum of 22.5 hours progressing to 37.5 hours (timings negotiable).
Salary – £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (pro rata)
Package – Enrolment to the company pension scheme, BUPA Health Care, generous annual leave entitlement.
Experience and Skills
A good deal of common sense, etiquette and initiative
Ability to work without supervision or as part of a team
Proficient experience and knowledge of various packages, including Sage, Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint, Adobe Suite, WordPress etc.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Good timekeeping
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
