Purpose of Job
As a Finance Assistant your responsible for our client's back office finance functions as per each our clients. You will complete all monthly ledger work booking of accruals and prepayments, fixed assets and completing monthly management accounts. Control bank accounts and bank reconciliations and in some cases making payments on behalf of the client or setting up the payment runs for their approval and release.
Working as a member of the team, the role will be a varied mixture of duties on various clients. Responsible for providing a high-quality service to our clients on a full -time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing of purchase invoices
Processing of client bank payments for review by seniors and release by client or authorised individual
Reconciliation of client bank accounts
Resolving internal and external queries relating to invoices and bank reconciliations
Posting transactions into the General Ledger
Work in accordance with defined systems and processes
Be able to manage own workflow
Ensuring adherence to relevant client policies regarding approval and payment of such invoices

Key Skills
A good general standard of education including English and Mathematics GCSE (or equivalent)
Confident telephone and email manner
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Good working knowledge and experience of working with MS excel, word and outlook
Eagerness to learn and gain further knowledge
