Finance Assistant – Permanent – Milton Keynes

Purpose of the role:

This Finance Assistant role requires an individual who is organised, friendly, efficient and diligent. If you tick all of these boxes then this could be your next role!

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work as part of the central finance team

Key Responsibilities:

Support Managers and Administrators in relation to all financial matters
Poduce reports and reconciliations to include sales / purchase ledgers, credit card, project, bank and other balance sheet accounts, in accordance with the organisations financial schedule and internal control systems.
Collate and produce financial information for the scheduled internal auditing of operational services and contribute to the organisations end of year audit procedures. 
When requested, you will respond in a timely manner to operational colleagues request for financial information.
Essential Skills & Experience

Experience of using Microsoft Office applications to an intermediate level including: Excel and Word
Working with finance software and computerised systems.
Experience of working with highly sensitive and confidential information.
Experience of producing accurate and complex work, paying close attention to detail.
Experience of working in a logical, neat manner, with a highly organised approach to your work.
Experience of working to deadlines and within a monthly financial schedule.
An ability to work within a team or on your own initiative.
Holding or working towards an accounting qualification such as: AAT, CIMA, ACCA or an interest in undertaking
Hours Work:

35 hours week
