Job Title: Finance Assistant – FTC 12 months (Maternity Cover)
Location: Milton Keynes – Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24-25K + Life Insurance – Healthcare option – Perkbox – Annual Bonus
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Finance Assistant to join our client on a 12-month fixed term contract.
You must have a proven background in Finance and the ability to work with speed and accuracy to deadlines. This Finance Assistant will support all day-to-day functions of the finance team, providing support and assistance to both the accounts payable and accounts receivables.
The role:
Accounts Payable
*Recording of stock invoices in a timely manner
*Reconciliation of supplier statements to creditor ledger
*Resolution of any queries
*Ledger Reconciliations
*Collecting all post for finance
*Providing assistance and support for all month end processes
Accounts Receivable
*Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
*Creation of new accounts in BLISS (in house ERP system)
*Sending copies of invoices or credits
*Sending customer statements
*Processing credit notes and manual invoices
*Monitoring the inbox and managing all queries
*Providing assistance and support for all month end processes
What you will bring:
Accounts Payable and Receivable experience (is preferred)
Competent Excel skills
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Proactive and enthusiastic
Attention to detail, highly organised with the ability to multi-task
