About the role:
Are you someone who is good with numbers and has an eye for detail? The ideal candidate for this apprenticeship is for someone who is looking to kick start their career in Finance.
The lucky apprentice will be assisting the Finance team in providing support to internal customers by assisting in day to day financial activities such as: liaising with budget managers to identify and investigate variances against budgets and contributing to the preparation of month end management accounts and year-end financial statements.

* 36.5 hours, full time, flexible and remote working

Requirements and prospects

Desired qualification
5 GSCE grades 9-4/A*- C, including Maths & English
1 A level A*- C (E) 9-4
Future aspirations
They are a smallish finance team who is growing and expanding very fast, they might be in a position where after the 16 months, they have opportunities across the different finance teams, finance reporting, treasury, service charges and reporting.
Things to consider:
18-month fixed term contract. During this time, you will have 20% off the job learning, which is 1 day a week with the training provider and 4 days a week in the office. You will have the opportunity to work from home.
Please be aware once you have been selected after the assessment day, there will be a pre-interview with Kaplan before an offer is made. .
