The OU is looking to recruit a Temporary Finance Administrator to join their Finance Team from 21 March 2022 until 29 July 2022 – working 37 hours per week, paying £12.93 per hour. Training (approximately 1-2 weeks) will be on campus & this role will be working from home / hybrid (2 days per week in the office) & equipment will be supplied for working from home.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in preparing the forecast of research grants and other projects
Maintain Ledger data for research grants and other projects
Reconcile and monitor departmental and appropriate research budgets as required and record adjustments.
Supporting with any audit activity as and when required for systems purposes
Other various administrative duties as requiredSkills & Experience :
Recent or relevant administration experience in financial / accountancy teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well and collaboratively as part of a wider team
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent Excel, financial systems and other Microsoft systems knowledge (ideally use of SAP)
Ability to use own initiative and lead on finance administration processes to tight deadlines
