Robert Walters are delighted to be partnering with a client based in High Wycombe looking for a European Accounts Payable Clerk to join their newly created and growing team. The role has been created due to de-merger and therefore gives plenty of scope for the incumbent to have an impact on the implementation of processes. This is a permanent role and will be reporting directly in into the Finance Director.
You will be expected to assist the rest of the team with processing, reconciliations, and month-end reporting for Europe based clients making Italian, French, or German highly desirable alongside English.
Duties for the European Accounts Payable Clerk:
Accurate and timely processing of invoices – specifically, inputting, coding, PO matching invoices.
Handling credit request timely and efficiently.
Complete timely payment runs.
Processing employee and corporate expense requests.
Manage queries from internal and external parties to facilitate the accuracy of Accounts Payable by telephone and email.
Identify and escalate any known issues and conflicts to the Finance Director.
Maintaining accurate supplier information and order records.
To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must:
Have a proven background within a similar role and understand basic accounting principles.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have strong interpersonal skills.
Be able to work in a team.
Strong Excel skills desirable.
Experience using NetSuite.
Be business fluent in one or more of the following: Italian, French or German.
This European Accounts Payable Clerk Role is based in High Wycombe and the salary is £25,000 – £35,000 plus company specific benefits
