Kind Consultancy is working with a large, successful property services business which is now seeking a Data Protection Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. This is a predominantly remote role requiring very occasional travel to Milton Keynes.

The Data Protection Advisor will support the Group Data Protection Officer and Assistant Group Data Protection Officer in providing advice to the business on Data Protection matters, with other key responsibilities including:

* Supporting the completion of Data Protection Controls Frameworks.

* Identifying potential issues and risks relating to the processing of personal data both within and across business functions.

* Supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments.

* Supporting the review and completion of Registers of Processing Activity

* Supporting the review of data protection clauses in contracts.

Our ideal candidate for the Data Protection Advisor opportunity:

* Has at least 2 years experience in a Data Protection position (or similar)

* Holds or is willing to study for a recognised Data Protection qualification

* Is able to assess the impact and relevance of issues and articulate them in a clear and precise manner whilst ensuring a commercial approach is maintained.

* Having expertise in UK and European data protection laws and practices would be highly beneficial, as would a good understanding of the processing operations carried out by property services businesses

* Takes ownership of issues and sees them through to resolution

* Has outstanding attention to detail and delivers high quality written work and reporting.
