Credit Controller

11 Month Temporary Contract

£25,000 to £26,000 DOE

Milton Keynes

My highly regarded, international client is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team. The prime functions of the role are:

Cash collection
Query resolution
Adherence to Credit Policy
Maintain & manage effectively accounts within own ledger
Aid towards reduction of aged debt
To maintain professional & courteous communication at all times to both internal & external customers.Key Tasks:

To monitor & review accounts to maintain credit terms
To ensure customers orders are only released as according to the credit policy
Post & allocate cash receipts on a daily basis
Review own ledger to establish & obtain potential queries
To complete the 60 Day Debt Review
To resolve customer queries & communicate the resolution
To communicate effectively with sales team members to aid query resolution & gain payment where applicable.
Cash – Post & allocate daily to individual accounts
Highlight internal statement to reflect invoices to be allocated
Once completed to pass cash posting details to the Credit Control Administrator.
To contact a customer should a current invoice not be paid & establish the reason for this.
Release from Hold accounts where overdue balances are paid & release Orders on Hold
Resolve the outstanding query; where applicable contact the relevant department for assistance.
