We are seeking an experienced credit controller to join our clients lovely team in Milton Keynes.
The day-to-day duties of the Credit Controller include;
* Controlling ledgers in excess of £5m
* Ensure customers pay to terms
* Maximize aged debt
* Chasing overdue invoices
* Process incoming funds & maintain the reconciliation of accounts
* Manage account queries to resolution
* Checking customer’s credit and approve or decline applications based on company standards and requirements
Essential skills:
* Proven experience within a busy Credit Control / Sales Ledger function
* Working knowledge of Credit reference agencies and associated technologies
* Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
* Computer literate – Microsoft Office
* Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
* The ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions
Desirable skills, knowledge, and experience:
* ICM level III or working towards
* Working knowledge of SAP
* Experience of the catering industry

* Results orientated
* Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
* High attention to detail
* Tenacious, persistent, and balanced
* Patient and with the ability to remain calm
Hours:
* Set hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
