Credit Control Team Leader

Temporary to Permanent

£32,000 to £35,000 per Annum DOE

Milton Keynes

My prestigious, international client is looking for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to support their well established team. Ideally you will have experience working in a service industry and be happy managing a team as well as your own portfolio of clients.

Key areas of Responsibility:

Lead and manage a team of credit controllers to achieve individual, team and business targets
Support the Finance Manager with input into the weekly cash forecast
Lead the regular credit committees to drive timely cash collection and query resolution
Credit checking for new and existing clients
Perform credit control for own portfolio of customers
Ensure processes are efficient and effective, supported by credit management and debt collection software
Collaborate with other teams in the business to proactively look for ways to improve the order to cash process, hence reducing customer disputes and driving more timely cash collectionKnowledge, Skills and Experience

A proven track record of leading and developing a credit control team
A drive and commitment to achieve demanding targets
A business partner able to work with different teams to drive results
Pro-active, with a hands on approach to problem solving
Highly numerate with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Organised with the ability to prioritise work
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong team player and able to work on own initiative
Intermediate Excel skills with proven working knowledge
Broad financial knowledge gained from experienceRole advertised: 30th July 2021
