Our Milton Keynes-based client is looking to recruit a Credit Control & Finance Executive to join their team on a temporary basis for 9 months.
Position: Credit Control & Finance Executive (Hybrid working)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am – 5.30pm
Salary: DOE
Duration of employment: 9-month contract
You will be part of a small team of 5 people, managing the general credit control duties as well as providing support to the Management Accounts team.
Roles and responsibilities:
Working effectively with the team to provide a seamless service to internal and external customers through a variety of communication channels and within the set standards/
Investigating and taking ownership of customer queries in order to remove obstacles to payment
Proactively contacting customers to follow up on required payments
Taking payments over the phone
Customer account reconciliations
Daily posting and allocation of the cash receipts
Preparing regular bank reconciliations
Maintaining the remittances, accounts, and credit control team mailboxes.
Investigating and resolving billing queries via email and telephone.
Knowledge and experience required:
Proven background in customer experience and conflict resolution
Methodical individual with high standards
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent Excel and Word skills.
Training will be given on accounting systems
