Our client has a permanent, full time vacancy for a Credit Control Assistant, reporting to the Credit Control Manager. The main objective of the role is to provide additional support within the credit control department to ensure all sales ledger balances are collected on a timely basis.
Main duties include, but are not limited to, liaising with valued customers for payment and handling any queries that may arise and you will therefore have excellent oral and written skills in English language. The client base is varied and they have both independent and corporate customers so a versatile approach to your work is a must.
You must be an excellent communicator and have a desire to build strong working relationships with these customers. You will also enjoy working as part of a close knit team, whilst taking responsibility for your own accounts.
A high level of attention to detail is essential and intermediate skills in Excel (VLOOKUPS and pivot tables) is highly desirable.
Successful applicants will ideally have previous experience of working in a credit control environment however we are willing to consider people who can demonstrate the key skills above but who do not have previous credit control experience.
