We have a genuinely unique opportunity here, to be part of an extremely exciting new venture, that would suit an experienced Home/Property Claims Handler looking for a step up in their career, or a current Claims Team Leader looking for an interesting new challenge.
Several well-known insurance organisations have partnered, to form what we believe is a ground-breaking new proposition to market.
One is a firmly established and highly successful Property Claims management company providing services to some of the biggest names in the UK home insurance market. They have partnered with a leading contents replacement and repair provider to the UK Home insurance market, to form a new Third Party Administration company, to offer FNOL services to insurers.
They have already secured one blue chip client and are working hard to deliver on their go live date this summer (envisaged as 1st August, 2021) to provide FNOL and claims fulfilment services to their home insurance policy holders.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced FNOL Home or Property Claims handler, or current Team Leader to join this new team at its inception, and be part of something new, and exciting! You will be the first staff member, reporting into the Head of Operations, and will soon be followed by a Claims Handler, who will be your first team member!
They have a vison of providing a new style of efficient service, based on new bespoke slick technology, to make the claims experience for the customer as smooth as possible, whilst controlling indemnity spend for insurers.
They have also partnered with a dynamic outsourced IT delivery partner to develop this new claims handling platform, which is fully integrated with their clients policy admin systems.
Not only will you be using your skills and experience to deliver exceptional service at the “moment of truth”, but you will be actively encouraged to contribute ideas to process and technology improvements to help develop the existing service and to help the business gain new clients by offering market leading service.
You will initially deal with First Notification of Loss for Property, home and Contents claims, up to £25,000, and be required to establish that liability exists, so will be claims handling focused to begin with, but as you grow your team, and this expands you will then be pulled into the focus of a Team Leader, carrying out 1-2-1’s, appraisals, recruitment and disciplinary’s, alongside being a technical lead for the team.
To be considered you will need to have extensive experience in a Home/Property claims role, working for either a broker, insurer, law firm or claims management company, and ideally hold the Cert CII qualification, though the latter is not essential.
Salary on offer is £27-33,000, and office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, based in Aylesbury.
