CASH ALLOCATION ADMINISTRATOR / CASHIER
£20,000 – £22,000
Monday to Friday 08.45 – 17.00
Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Cashier.
Based at our Milton Keynes Head Office you will be primarily responsible for cash posting, bank reconciliations and administration within the cashiering function.

Summary
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the post-holder will be primarily responsible for cash posting, bank reconciliations and administration within the cashiering function.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities
Daily reconciliation of Company’s bank accounts
Daily cash posting for all Credit Card and BACS from customers onto their accounts
Daily update to the Sales Administration Department in order to release new and used vehicles
Monthly direct debit collection from customers
Daily banking preparation and electronic filing
Exchange Rate difference Nominal Ledger journals
Opening and sorting the post
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Computer literate including Outlook and good Excel skills
Experience of working in a high-pressured environment
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Experience of working in an office environment
Numerate with a good attention to detail
Good interpersonal skill for communication with all levels of staff within the organisation
Ability to organise work and be self-motivated
Flexible working hours at month end in order to ensure all payments received are allocated correctly
Experience / skills regarded as ideal but not essential
Accounting knowledge
Previous experience of Autoline accounting system would be an advantage
