Cash and Credit Control Administrator
£22,000 – £24,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cash & Credit Control Administrator to join our client, a successful and leading provider of funding solutions to businesses that continue to see outstanding growth.
The primary function of this position is debtor management, including both the cash allocation and credit control for a portfolio of debtors and clients. In this role, you will service clients whilst liaising closely with the account managers who manage risk profiles. You will have your own portfolio of clients against which specific daily and weekly benchmarking activities will take place in order for you to fulfil your role and effectively process all cash, whilst verifying new debt and chasing overdue accounts.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Telephone credit control
Ensuring credit control notes are complete and sufficient to comply with debt protection policy
Verification of debts/invoices
Ledger reviews with Client managers
Reporting any issues/disputes to line manager/ client manager
Working with client/debtors to ensure any issues/disputes are resolved quickly and efficiently
Risk monitoring
Sending chasing letters, copy invoices and statements
Liaising with clients as necessary
Accurate and diligent allocation of debtor receipts
A high standard of reconciliation and numeracy skills
Reporting
Compliance with AML & KYC regulations Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must have:
Proven credit control or debt collection experience
A proven history of accurate and efficient cash management and processing
Ability to deliver on collection targets
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Good levels of skill in Microsoft applications including Excel
Advanced reconciliation skills
Ability to process data quickly and accurately
Good customer service skills
Excellent telephone manor
Excellent time management skills
Factoring experience would be an advantage The hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
