Role: Assistant Management Accountant

Type: 12 month FTC

Location: Home Based but ability to travel to the Milton Keynes office if required

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join our clients Finance team, responsible for maintaining the accurate and complete financial records for the UK business and supporting the UK Finance Manager with the day to day running of the financial accounting and reporting function.

Key responsibilities:

* Accurate and timely production of monthly accounting and reporting

* Review and posting of journals to the general ledger and performing transactional analysis for review

* Ensure payroll figures are posted accurately, and the payroll system is reconciled to the general ledger each month

* Ensure monthly revenue is correctly recognised in line with IFRS 15 and Group accounting policy

* Complete fee reconciliations

* Maintain accurate and reliable balance sheet reconciliations monthly

* Liaise with Revenue Management Team to accurately account for debt and debt provision for all UK statutory entities.

* Assist with the successful delivery of the annual audits for all UK statutory entities

* Assisting with completing annual Tax Packs for all UK statutory entities

* Assisting the UK Finance Manager on other adhoc tasks e.g. Fixed asset accounting

The ideal Assistant Management Accountant will possess the following experience:

* Strong experience of using Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and Lookup capability

* Degree educated and/or started Accountant studies

* Proven previous experience as a Assistant Management Accountant or at least two years' general ledger accounting experience, including reconciliation of account balances

* High attention to detail

* Experience of working to strict deadlines and adhering to a month end timetables
