Assistant Management Accountant

Permanent

Milton Keynes (office based)

£27,000 -£32,000

The position will assist the Management Accountant with the management of accounting, financial control, financial and statistical reporting, inventory control and office services.

The position will be involved with stakeholders from various departments within the plant and provide support and information when requested.

Key Responsibilities

Support with the preparation of monthly management accounts in line with corporate deadlines

Ensure regular production reporting requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner

Support in the creation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, liaising with various stakeholders at all levels of the business

Provide financial analysis and data preperation to support the local management team

Undertake necessary procedures to control costs and safeguard company assets

Support with the maintenance of relevant local SOX Controls and the annual audit process

Support with various capital accounting requirements at Milton Keynes and provide project accounting support to the plant controller for the new site.

Expectation to provide cover/support to stakeholder for Plant controller if/when absent from site

Have flexibility to travel to various sites across the UK or Europe from time to time

Experience/skills required:

Previous experience In a similar role

Strong analyctical skills

SAP /ERP system experience desirable.

A finance related degree and or CIMA/ACCA qualified is desirable.
