Description

The successful Assistant Financial Accountant will have the duties of:

– Reporting accurate month, quarter and year end figures

– Providing detailed analysis for UK and group external reporting

– Be involved in Financial reporting including, IFRS9 reporting, customer analysis, Treasury and inter-company reconciliations.

– Preparing monthly journals

– Supporting projects related to new systems and to improve overall quality.

– Balance sheet reconciliations

– Treasury duties – Looking after the company's cash

– Liaising with banks and auditors

– Maintenance of the fixed asset register and calculation of deprecation.

Profile

The successful Assistant Financial Accountant:

– Must be studying towards ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualifications

– Experience in accounting, month / year end reporting

– Excellent attention to detail

– Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

– Task focused.
