Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Assistant Financial Accountant to join their busy Finance Team. In this challenging and varied role, you will be a key member completing duties such as maintaining General Ledger Accounts and preparing Management Reports and Analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing financial services provider.
Duties will include: –
* Managing the monthly accounts close process, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded, and accounts are prepared and reconciled in a timely manner.
* Responsibility for the accurate maintenance of designated General Ledger accounts, including timely and regular reconciliations and analyses.
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports and analyses.
* Support the accounts assistant with daily banking duties (accounts reconciliations, cash reconciliations, accounts payable etc)
* Support the preparation of the Company’s financial plans, budgets and forecasts.
* Support the production of published annual accounts.
* Liaise with Internal and External auditors where required.
* To provide accounting support to Finance and other business areas where required.
The successful candidate will be/possess:
* Part Qualified/Studying to become a member of a recognised accountancy body
* Previous experience in a similar Finance/Accountant role
* Highly desirable if this experience has been gained within finance services, but not essential
Whilst our clients head office is based Near Gerrards Cross, they are very open to a flexible working week i.e., some days in the office and some working remotely
