A mentor will have responsibility for the delivery and assessment of the Apprenticeship programmes within their subject specialism this may include levels (phone number removed) and 7. They will be responsible for a caseload of Apprentice learners whom they will mentor and monitor the learning and progression throughout the duration of the programme.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
* Mentoring remote 1:1 sessions to Apprentices associated with their subject specialism against the Apprenticeship Programme and level
* Providing Apprentices with support on a 1:1 basis
* To assess Apprentice achievements
* Supporting and embedding functional skills English and maths at the appropriate level
* Ensuring each Apprentice is following the agreed programme and schedule
* Supporting fellow members within the team
* Reporting Apprentice issues to their Line Manager
* Reporting to their Line Manager any disciplinary and/or learner management issues
* Mentoring Apprentices to achieve and learn professional skills required for the workplace in line with the appropriate Apprenticeship Standard
* Adapting delivery and assessment to meet the broad range of learning needs including the needs of those with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
* Monitoring the progress of the Apprentices within their caseload
* Maintaining appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment in line with the End Point Assessment Organisation, Apprenticeship Standards, FSTP and all other regulatory requirements
* Carrying out and record regular Apprentice reviews as required
* Maintaining professional knowledge in the subject/sector specialism
* Providing a professional customer service to external and internal customers
