Agricultural Claims Technician – UK Home Based, Milton Keynes – Highly Competitive Salary – Full Time, Permanent

What You Will Be Doing – Agricultural Claims Technician:

Working remotely, you’ll be working in partnership with our Loss Adjusters in the field, to support a varied caseload of Commercial, Domestic and Agricultural claims up to £150K in value.

You will predominantly be assisting with the progression of each claim, which includes keeping customers, clients and brokers updated throughout. You will also appoint suppliers, chase documentation and make payments.

Some claimants may require alternative accommodation, so you’ll ensure the reduction of claim lifecycles to reduce costs by removing hurdles in the process, getting to the root cause of issues, resolving problems and collating all necessary details.

About You:

We’re looking for talent: problem solvers who relish challenges and provide solutions. Previous claims handling experience is an advantage, but we’d like to hear from you if you have a similar commercial background. You will ideally have:

Knowledge of Domestic, Commercial & Agricultural Insurance practices
Technical competence and experience of handling property losses up to an agreed value
Ability to support claims using a variety of methods in line with TCF and Client requirements
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong written ability for report and letter writing
Ability to work in a structured manner
High personal standards of service delivery
Ability to empathise and communicate at all levels
Evidenced ability to plan and organize workload
