Quality Personnel are recruiting for a temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk for 3 months (possibility of extension).

You’ll need a good ability to pick up and work with new systems and ideally experience of using Epicor or similar AS400 system. You’ll be confident using Excel and have experience with reconciliations (particularly in a credit control / accounts receivable / sales ledger context).

Main Duties:

* Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

* Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data.

* Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits.

* Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

* Dealing with old debt efficiently to minimise the aging using the appropriate communication method.

* Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues, query resolution and arranging/processing credits memos where necessary withing company guidelines.

* Reviewing and resolving customer overpayments, both new and historic, efficiently and accurately.

* Ensure credit memos and associated invoice cancellation or refunds are processed within the company guidelines.

* Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

* Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

To be considered:
– Experience of debt collection work by email and telephone
– Good telephone manner
– Diligent with a good problem solving and positive attitude
– Confident picking up new systems
– MS Office – Excel in particular

Working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm with 1 hour for lunch (37.5 hours per week). Free Parking, kitchen, free tea and coffee.
