Cedar are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a Financial Services business based in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis.
Hybrid: 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home (may increase to 3 days in the office)
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Reports to: Finance Team Lead
Responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable and treasury tasks within the Finance Department. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, the role will consist of invoice verification, data entry, reconciliations, assisting with month end processes and any ad-hoc tasks, as required.
Main Duties:
Processing of multi-currency supplier invoices and staff expenses, coding and obtaining approval via electronic invoice management system.
Assist with the onboarding of new suppliers and maintaining existing supplier database.
Raising monthly intercompany recharges.
Weekly payment runs using NetSuite accounting package (CHAPS, BACS, FX payments), in accordance with supplier payment terms.
Transfer of funds between business bank accounts.
Daily bank reconciliations.
Credit card reconciliations.
Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post.
Query resolution; via telephone, e-mail, and JIRA service desk facility.
Stakeholder engagement; managing expectations between internal and external users.
Assistance with month end processes to close banks and purchase ledger.
