Accounts Assistant  – Part Time ( 20 hours per Week)- based in  Milton Keynes

Purpose of Role:

This Assistant Accountant  role requires an individual who is organised, friendly, efficient and diligent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring customers residual balances

• Monitoring interest calculations on customers balances

 • Bank Reconciliations

• Supporting the cashiering team on an ad hoc basis

• Assisting with month end on an ad hoc basis

• Ability to work to tight deadlines particularly at month end and financial year end

• Confidently produce accounts related documents (i.e. cheques etc) and related information

 Person Specification:

Ability to work within a pressurised environment and keep to tight deadlines.

Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels and to liaise with all parties both internal and external.
Previous experience within an Accounts department (Desirable)
Familiar with reporting and investigating queries (Desirable)
 Working knowledge of VAT (Desirable)

Hours of work:

Part time 5 days per week ( 20 Hours)
