Robert Walters are pleased to be supporting our client; who are based near Milton Keynes, recruiting an Accounts Assistant position – focussed on purchase ledger, foreign currency, VAT and instratat. This is an ideal role for someone studying AAT or AAT qualified who lives in or near Milton Keynes.

The role is responsible for managing purchase ledger, dealing with queries, managing payments to suppliers and that all month end activities are completed on time.

The Role:

Responsibilities will include:

-Managing purchase ledger, payments to suppliers and dealing with queries

-Managing foreign currency – multi-currency invoices

-Reconciliation of purchase ledger and balance sheet

-Month end purchase ledger reports

-VAT and instrastat

-Supplier payments, BACs payments

-Ad-hoc tasks and projects

On Offer:

A salary of circa £30k plus benefits and study support dependant on qualifications and experience.

Profile:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger accountant who has multi-currency, VAT and intrastat and ideally is studying or has studied AAT
