We are recruiting for a highly attentive and committed Accounts Assistant to join a small but growing financial services business in Milton Keynes, paying up to £26,000.
As an Accounts Assistant you can expect to be involved with:
Processing client payroll
Monthly CIS submissions to HMRC
Client VAT returns
Filing confirmation statements
Accounts production, fixed asset reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations
Personal tax return preparation
Director salary and dividend processing Th successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified (or training) and have experience using the following software: Xero, Iris/PTP Payroll Bureau, IXBRL, Excel and HMRC software. Knowledge of Xero integrations that can assist clients to streamline their processes would also be beneficial.
This role is office-based, Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm or 8.30am to 5pm but could also include the opportunity to work off-site 1-2 days a week at a client location, processing invoices, VAT, and payroll.
