Accounts Assistant

* Maternity cover 12 months Finance Assistant jobs / Accounts Assistant jobs role

* Based in Aylesbury. 4 days per week or 5 days – flexible to suit you

* Must have strong Excel skills (pivot tables etc.)

* Part qualified Accounts jobs role

We are seeking a part qualified (AAT or ACCA) Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant. You must have strong Sage 50 accounts experience & very strong Excel skills (pivot tables etc.)

This is NOT just a bookkeeper / clerical job. We ideally want someone who is good with Excel and along with Sage 50 can get month end close; 90% of the way there (so not do this fully but can really help with these slightly more complex bits), help with reconciling / VAT returns etc.

* Local to Aylesbury

* Good solid accountancy background

* Advanced excel skills

* Sage 50 Accounts

* VAT returns and reconciling

* Good eye for detail

* Excellent English – written and spoken

* Self-reliant, well organised, able to prioritise, proactive

* Experience of proof reading would be a real bonus

* Coding up and posting purchase invoices

* Preparing sales invoices

* Maintaining the timesheet system (on excel)

* Updating various excel databases for client records
