Our client is a genuine market leader and household name with a compelling and renonwed portfolio of software solutions
Due to continued success and demand they are looking to grow their Inside Sales team with an Inbound Business Development Representative
Excellent communication skills, intelligent and articulate they are lookign for someone organised, proactive and to act as the first point of contact when engaging with prospective new clients, to properly qualify their needs, what they are looking to achieve, how this fits in with the solutions/propositions on offer and take through to the next stage of the sales process.
To give an exmaple of the demand, typically the target will be a weekly target of qualifying 10 opportunities through to the team of Account Executives to look to close.
There would also be an opportunity to be proactive in chasing through lapsed clients and older queries/enquiries to reactivate previous opportunities.
This role would start on a remote basis with a view to moving into a 50/50 working from home and in the Marlow offices when we return to the new normality moving forwards.
Genuine career progression on offer through to Account Management/Account Executive or Customer Success Management on offer within an 18-24 month window

Target account engagement and qualification
To follow up on campaign emails with phone calls into the organisation, establishing appropriate contacts and generating interest in the proposition/ Solutions.
Identify and develop latent lead requirements & establish/position appropriate solutions.
Successfully achieve a pre-defined annual bookings target from a list of nominated target accounts
Inbound lead handling & qualification
To proactively engage all inbound leads from marketing activities, website and phone/chat channels, following the agreed service level agreements for initial response.
To be effective in the development and crystallisation of need in the mind of our buyer (the lead), securing meetings for field sales with qualified leads.
To show the right combination of professional acumen and commercial hustle to continually improve the outcome of their tele-prospecting and tele-qualifying activities.
Continual improvement of new business development practices
Deep understanding of our client's value to our customers and ability to advocate the benefits to help radiate our position in the market to similar organisations in each sector.
Tenacious and proactive seizing of every other possible lead acquisition opportunity on the market to aid outbound targeting.
Devising, researching and testing innovative contact strategies to support initial prospect conversations through to building consensus in accounts.
Working with the Business Development Manager to continuously improve the processes and systems that underpin and enable the wider BDR team.
Technical expertise in
To proactively develop expertise in all Product/Solutions and take ownership for continued professional development, keeping up to date with new products and product developments
General BDR Tasks
Database Management – to check and update company & contact details, updating CRM within 24 hours and as required within the parameters set by the company for CRM usage.
To proactively forecast monthly BDR performance to meet monthly/quarterly/annual targets
To develop an ongoing activity pipeline to drive pipeline creation volumes to meet annual bookings targets
To adhere to team KPIs and Service Levels Agreements as defined by our lead management process
