Are you an experienced in Business Development?
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the Sales team to plan and carry out sales activities to enable business plans and targets to be achieved!
You will be supported by lead generation and marketing teams who create sales leads and then hand over the servicing and management of the client once the new business has been won!
This is working for a fast-growing ecommerce, logistics, technology company based in an amazing office in Marlow, Bucks.
You will be working 8.30am-6.00pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am-5.00pm on Fridays and will be offered a competitive salary and some great benefits!
Key responsibilities:
* Achieve new business sales that meet agreed quarterly targets.
* Plan and carry out direct lead development activity.
* Work closely with lead generation and marketing teams to qualify and convert new business leads.
* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries received from prospective clients.
* Set up and lead client meetings and actively engage with internal departments to create and present winning solutions.
* Maintain and computerised clients and prospective database (CRM).
* Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
* Review leads and opportunities regularly with senior managers to develop and refine sales strategies.
* Identify and feedback market intelligence on clients, prospects and competitor activity.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with implantation and Client Success teams.
You will need:
* Industry knowledge; strong knowledge of ecommerce- both operationally, service and business development based, demonstrated across logistics environments. (Desirable)
* Ability to build and develop mutually beneficial relationships with clients and the stakeholders within.
* Experience in the tech and/ or retail sectors. (Desirable)
* Proven sales track record in securing significant wins.
* Excellent presentation and IT skills.
* Excelled in B2B targets from sources of new leads.
* Target driven.
* Thrive in an ever-expanding business.
* You must have a driving licence and your own vehicle
