Description

As Senior NPI Buyer you will be the purchasing lead on key Bids and all NPI projects and programmes activity for the business.

Manage end to end supply chain for projects and programmes to ensure the best possible quality, cost, delivery and overall supplier reliability for the business
Designing and managing the supply chain solution to support the product design, development and manufacture of new products
Establishing and managing cost to the most effective solution by engaging with suppliers and establishing UPCs
Collaborating with key suppliers to identify opportunities to improve joint operational efficiency Coordinating with Operational Commodity leads to ensure NPI solutions are cohesive with overreaching procurement strategies
Undertaking supplier negotiations to ensure appropriate and cost effective solutions are achieved
Delivering cost savings to the business, identifying and delivering best value solutions
Researching and establishing new sources of supply and capabilities within the Supply Chain to support the businesses technology road mapProfile

The ideal candidate will have experience in a strategic procurement role focusing on NPI within a manufacturing organisation with high governance.

Preferable sectors; Automotive, Defence, Aerospace or Medical Devices.
