Description

As a Senior NPI Buyer, your key responsibilities will include:

Acting as Purchasing Lead on key Bids and all NPI projects and programmes activity for the business
Managing the end-to-end supply chain for projects and programmes to ensure the best possible quality, cost, delivery and overall supplier reliability for the business
Designing and managing the supply chain solution to support the product design, development and manufacture of new products
Establishing and managing cost to the most effective solution by engaging with suppliers and establishing unit production costs (UPCs) for new designs into service and beyond.
Managing associated sourcing and tendering processes in accordance with project or production deliverable.
Researching and establishing new sources of supply and capabilities within the supply chain to support technology road map

Profile

As Senior NPI Buyer, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Proven experience within New Product Introduction
Previous experience as a buyer within a manufacturing company.
Supplier relationship management.
Technical knowledge of Electro-mechanical parts and assemblies.
Influencing and/or negotiating skills
CIPS certification is desirable
A degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field. Job Offer
