As our Pensions and Benefits Specialist, your key duties will be spread over several areas of the business such as; Pensions, Benefits and Recognition.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the administration of the company pension scheme(s) ensuring related processes and scheme information is compliant, monthly membership and contribution processes are set out and followed, and support the on-boarding of new schemes as needed
Manage the administrative processes, scheme documentation, and related communications for all company benefits, including maintaining accurate membership schedules, updating the HR database/Excel trackers, liaising with providers, and processing benefit-related purchase orders/invoices
Coordinate the annual renewal processes / activities for risk benefit portfolio including liaising with advisors, booking meetings, and contributing to renewal outcome recommendations
Keep company benefit information up to date, compliant, accurate, and "fit for purpose," including written and online information for employees as well as the reward resource library for the HR team
Ensure the required pension and benefits information is passed onto payroll in line with the prevailing processes
Contributes to and supports the Head of Reward in delivery of the reward strategy
Maintain confidentiality at all levels and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential, adhering to GDPR regulations and all company IT policies
Serve as the key coordinator for the company pension scheme(s) including processing new joiners, opt outs/ceases, keeping related databases up to date, creating and issuing statutory auto enrolment documentation, liaising with pension providers, and being the first point of contact for pension queries
Develop and maintain accurate benefits eligibility and scheme membership data in line with the prevailing systems, e.g. running reports and updating spreadsheets / trackers and or databases
Coordinate the annual risk benefits renewals e.g. life assurance, private medical cover, heath cash plan, critical illness, income protection and the EAP scheme, including contributing to renewal recommendations, creating any necessary annual renewal schedules, and cost modellingWe would welcome applications with the following skills; Reward, Benefits, Compensation, Pensions, Commission, Bonus, Pay, Recognition, Strategy, IT Literate, MS Office, Dispute Resolution, HR, ResourceLink, Zellis, MI, Reporting, Trend Analysis, Data Analysis, Communication.
Essential Skills
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
Strong eye for detail and accuracy in data
Ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely and tailored to the audience
Ability to understand relationships between data, identify data trends and create effective management information reports
Good problem-solving skills, dispute resolution, and knowing when to escalate situations
Experience in using HR and payroll systems (e.g. ResourceLink Zellis)About Company
