We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, eager to learn, has excellent attention to detail and is keen to lay roots within a company that are growing year on year.
We have a position available within our HR team for a dynamic and organised individual to fulfil. It is a varied role in which the right candidate will be responsible for onboarding new starters into the business.
As the Onboarding Administrator you will work with the HR team to support the business in administering the onboarding process for all hourly paid staff across the group. The job holder will ensure staff are contracted, referenced and set-up on the Whistl HR/Payroll systems in an accurate and timely manner according to company policy and procedures. A job share for two people would also be considered.
Key responsibilities:
Collate, check and input accurate new starter information onto HR/Payroll system within the published HR/Payroll timetable
Ensure referencing and security vetting of new recruits is completed within agreed timescale
Produce and issue accurate offer letters and terms and conditions of employment in line within agreed timescales.
Set-up and maintain electronic personnel files and trackers to agreed standards and templates.
Monitor and manage the HR mail inbox in liaison with other members of the HR team to ensure enquiries relating to new starters, contracting and on boarding activities are managed in a timely manner.
Liaise with Line Managers, Depot Co-ordinators, Transport Administrators and other colleagues involved in in the appointment of new staff to ensure all paperwork related to contracting and on boarding is received in a timely manner.
Provide details of employee ID numbers as staff are added to the Whistl pay-roll systems to support set-up of operational systems accounts required for their roles in advance of start date. E.g. Kronos Time & Attendance System, Mailnet etc.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Line Managers and other colleagues involved in the recruitment and on boarding of new staff.
Maintain accurate records of referencing and security vetting progress in line with the company systems and processes.
