An industry leading online experience and gifts organisation are looking to engage a talented and experienced Interim HR Business Partner ASAP to dive in and support on day-to-day operational requirements for the business as well as help drive the People strategic projects.
The focus on strategic projects will be L&D/Learning & Development for existing teams and also on hiring/recruitment as this organisation continues to grow. This is an FTC/Fixed Term Contract for a minimum 3 months with the possibility of extending further. This is an amazing opportunity to work with this super exciting and well-loved UK brand in a great location just outside of London in green and leafy Bucks. Ideally, the successful candidate will be available to start ASAP or latest early October.
Reporting directly into the Chief Operating Officer, you will work closely with the Leadership Team and wider business to provide guidance on all matters relating to operational HR / People matters including Employee Relations, ensuring that best practice and legal compliance is up to the highest standard across the organisation.
As an Interim HR Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of all day-to-day HR activities regarding employee lifecycle, from entry to exit.
Being a valuable HR Business Partner across the business, regularly liaising with employment law advisors whilst ensuring that all matters are handled in line with both legal and company requirements.
Partnering with the COO to deliver on defined strategic People initiatives (focus on L&D and hiring/onboarding).
Continuously keeping up to date with employment legislation and best practice.
Potentially, work with the Finance function and the outsourced payroll provider to manage the monthly payroll process.
We are looking for an Interim HR Business Partner who has the following skills and experiences:
CIPD qualified or part qualified.
Fantastic and up to date knowledge of relevant employment law.
The ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, with the ability to influence and implement at high levels.
Able to demonstrate high levels of judgement.
Fantastic communication skills with the ability to converse via phone, e-mail, and face to face.
Experience with both Office365 and HR software.
