Responsible for providing excellent service to both patients and colleagues in a busy surgery.
This role is based in Marlow, but will be required to travel to Lane End occasionally. You will also be required to work some early starts, 8.00am, and late finishes, 6.30pm.
Duties;
* Work through email inbox
* Provides quality customer service, including interacting with patients, answering patient enquiries
* Liaise with other members of the primary health care team
* Deal with complex enquiries from patients
* Liaise with medical representatives as required
* Have a clear understanding of telephone systems, daytime and out of hours
* Deal with general telephone enquiries from patients and general public
* Have a full understanding of the appointment system
* Record requests for home visits
* Ensure requests for repeat prescriptions
* Make appointments for patients
* Record messages for doctor, nurse and administrative staff
Skills and experience;
* Excellent communication skills
* Empathetic nature
* Previous experience of working in a Medical Reception
* Previous knowledge of using EMIS, Docman, Accurx and knowledge of Klinik is an advantage
* Organised, hardworking and focussed
