2724- Social Media Executive – Perm – Remote (1 day per week in Marlow offices) – up to £20K

Award winning digital marketing agency, are looking for a Social Media Executive. They need an energetic and passionate entry-level candidate to jump into all things digital, with a focus on social media and copywriting.

You will be required to work in the Marlow office once a week

Job Description:

We’re looking for someone with a flair for writing copy and an interest in social media to join our growing social media team

This role is suitable for entry-level candidates who are looking to gain knowledge of digital marketing in general, but with a focus particularly within social.

Primarily remote working from home, however, we do encourage the team to come into the office at least once a week in order to support your learning and development.

You’ll have a can-do attitude and willingness to challenge yourself every day with creative copywriting, exceptional grammar and time management skills.

You will report into the Social Media Manager and work alongside the wider marketing teams to make sure we achieve brand consistency for our clients across all digital marketing channels.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create captions for social media content across multiple brands (including retail, skincare, aesthetics and B2B)

Pitch exciting social media trends that can be shared with the wider social team

Build confidence with social media analytics and presenting reports internally

Schedule the content for all organic social content for clients

Build strong engagements online through community management

Work alongside the wider social media and marketing team

Be an expert with the latest social media trends and capitalise on this for our clients

Hashtag analysis to make sure we’re using the most relevant and best performing hashtags

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Interest in all things social media

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to manage your own time and workload productively

Interest in copywriting for social media

Good work ethic and ability to work alone as well as collaboratively with the wider social media team

Strong verbal and written communication skills (including grammar and spelling)

An ability to be both strategic and creative

Confidence to ask questions when unsure and willing to learn

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

Familiarity with Google documents (Sheets, Slides & Docs)

Knowledge of social media scheduling tools (Sprout Social)

Knowledge and understanding of role social media plays alongside wider digital marketing channels and tactics

We’re a flexible team. Your role would be based once a week in our office, and the other days working from home.

As long as the work is done to a high level we don’t mind where you are
